In an early 20th century building in the heart of Colle Oppio in Rome, Punto Zero Studio has worked on a traditional 115 square meters interior - a classic linear plan with a set of rooms, all facing outwards - to transform the space through new volumes and unexpected grafts.
The apartment is the home of the founder of the Punto Zero studio, which curated the project :
‘Being a client of yourself is the most improbable task ever. This is why the project has developed in continuous dialogue with my partners, both personal and professional. We wanted a house that moved around light and it was the search for views and brightness that made us overturn the original functions of the flat’. (Punto Zero Studio)
The perfect match between suction hood and counter, gives a truly contemporary feel to the room, enhancing its details and functionality. Every element stands out in design and colour.
Spazio, masterfully designed by Francesco Lucchese and also awarded the Compasso d'Oro in its extended 180 cm version in black finish, features multifunctionality.
Expression of an extraordinary 360° experience, it has a design conceived to use and exploit space in an intelligent way and is able to offer greater practicality in kitchen activities.

The accessories and additional features, however, are what make Spazio truly unique: from USB ports and electrical sockets for recharging devices, to the tablet holder, to the optional housing for a vegetable home garden. It is equipped with Circle.Tech technology, and the Carbon.Zeo filter that retains odours and moisture with dual effectiveness.
